We are an artist collective that cultivates creative exploration and seeks to strengthen individuality and mindful living practices through hands-on workshops, exhibits, performances, and other public events. Our programming is offered in four areas of learning:, family and youth, adult creations, professional development, and school partnerships.

Afterschool Kids with Transportation is an afterschool arts program at CAW that includes private shuttle pickup from select schools or our own bus stop in Nyack and surrounding areas.

CAW Summer Arts Explorers Day Camp
2 campuses:
Workshop Explorers
This camp is offered at our Nyack based studios and provides small group programming. Each day we do blended ages activities, age appropriate lessons, free-play, and community trips to many of Nyack’s wonderful community resources.
This camp is great for children who feel more comfortable with a balance of more indoor activity with plenty of playtime and fresh air at our local parks.

Oratamin Explorers
Our partnership with Oratamin Swim Club moves into our second year! This day balances nature art, culinary arts with partnerships with Nyack Farmers Market Vendors, games and swim time with the Oratamin professionals.
You can even sign up for private swim lessons with the Oratamin swim team! This camp provides plenty of fresh air, outdoor activities and play in the pool!

Are you looking for some additional support from an Afterschool program during the week?
We've got you covered. Choose 5 days/week or just the days you need. Each day your child is with us, they will get homework support, snack, and explore a different art modality with an expert Teaching Artist.

Is your child a lover of all things creative?

We have programs in movement, theatre arts, culinary arts, color and painting, music, puppetry, and more for children ages 4 through 13.

Each of our arts programs is taught by an expert Teaching Artist and runs as a weekly workshop for either 6 or 12 weeks so that your child can dive deep into one modality or try out a whole variety over time.
