Afternoon Arts for Ages 3-5

The Creative Arts Workshop (CAW) is thrilled to partner with the Nursery School of the Nyacks (NSN) to offer Afternoon Arts, an engaging and enriching program for children ages 3-5. Designed to foster play-based learning and social-emotional development, this program features arts-focused activities in a nurturing environment.

 

Children enrolled in NSN’s morning program will be walked over to CAW facilities to seamlessly transition into Afternoon Arts.

 

Daily Schedule:

  1. Open Play & Arts: A welcoming start with creative and exploratory activities.

  2. Opening Circle: Setting intentions and engaging with peers.

  3. Snack Time: A chance to refuel and connect.

  4. Daily Story Nook: Fostering a love for reading and imagination.

  5. Simple Projects: Hands-on arts activities that encourage creativity and skill-building.

  6. Closing Play & Circle Time: Reflecting on the day and preparing for pick-up.

  • Play-based learning to support natural curiosity and engagement.

  • Social-emotional development to nurture cooperation, empathy, and confidence.

  • Creative arts activities to inspire self-expression and cognitive growth.

Program Schedule - Spring 2025:

  • Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

  • Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

  • Start Date: Monday, January 6, 2025

  • End Date: Final week of June 2025

 

Enrollment Fees (Charged on Autopay Monthly Subscription):

  • 3 days per week: $415/month

  • 2 days per week: $340/month

  • NSN at CAW Afternoons - 3 days/week

    • Afternoon Pass (single session, based on availability): $55 per session*

    • 3 days per week: $135 per week

    • 5 days per week: $200 per week

    • Afternoon Pass (single session, based on availability): $55 per session

  • Winter 2026: January 6 - March 28

  • Spring 2026: March 31 - June 20

  • 2 days per week (Tuesdays & Thursdays): $340 per month

  • 3 days per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays): $415 per month

  • 5 days per week: $640 per month

Preregistration:

Complete this form and remit your nonrefundable $150 deposit to reserve your child's spot in our program for the 2025-26 school year. You will receive further instructions in early August to set up your payment plan and confirm your schedule. This deposit will be applied towards your first month's payment when you complete your registration.
