Liberty Kids Afterschool Wednesdays

For children who ride the bus from Liberty Elementary School.

Service Description

Creative Arts Workshop is excited to collaborate with the Nyack Public Schools Transportation Office to offer an after-school program for grades K-5 for the 2023-2024 School Year that includes bussing from Liberty Elementary School. In order to qualify for the free bussing service, your child must already qualify for bussing based on your home address. You will just be requesting an Alternate Site for drop-off. Once you register for the Afterschool Program Package of your choice, you will be responsible for coordinating with the Transportation Office to request the Alternate Site. To make this request, please complete and submit a Request for Alternate Site form to the Nyack Public Schools Transportation Dept. Be sure that you request your afternoon bus drop-off at Creative Arts Workshop at 171 Main Street. Nyack NY 10960. Also be sure to indicate which days of the week your child should be dropped off at CAW. (You can choose any day(s) of the week but it must be the same day(s) for the full semester. For example, you can choose Tuesdays and Thursdays for the entire semester, but not Tuesday one week and Wednesday the next. Once your request is approved, please confirm with us by emailing info@arts-workshop.com. On the days you request, CAW Workshop Assistants will be waiting to pick up your child(ren) at our bus stop, which will be on Main Street, just in front of the Workshop. The afternoon schedule is as follows: Kids Cafe from 4:00-4:30pm: Homework time, snack, and reading time Daily Arts Workshop from 4:30-6:00pm: Each day, we have two arts workshops running, one for each age group: Ages 4-7 and Ages 8-11. Pick up at 6:00pm. BONUS: Half-day Holiday Camps: Your monthly membership includes access tp all our Half-day Holiday Camps at no additional charge, if that half-day falls on the same day of the week that your child is already scheduled to be with us! This means on any Nyack Public School half-days that your child(ren) can ride the bus to the Workshop and stay at our Holiday Camp until 5:30pm.

Cancellation Policy

CAW will fully refund any program or event purchase, if the request is made in writing via email at least 24 hours before the first date or the date of the series, program, event, or food tour. There will be no refund made after the date of the first event or program if no communications have been made. CAW can also transfer any balance to a gift card to be applied to another program or event. CAW will refund any party or private group deposit up to two weeks before the date of the event.
